The second round of finnish Winter Jumps rc off-road series was held at Fullspeed rc club track last weekend in Vantaa in southern Finland. The tracks surface was made of concrete and is one of the four slippery tracks this season, while the rest two are carpet. Saturday was the 2wd race day. In the qualifying rounds Joona Haatanen took TQ while Tuomo Otsavaara was second and Mikko Luopajärvi third. In the finals there wasnâ™t that much of battle for first place since Joona managed to win all three of them. Tuomo secured second place in the finals. While Tuomo and Joona were much faster than other drivers there was battle for the third place between Mikko Luopajärvi, Konsta Saarinen and Lauri Ruotsalainen. In the end Mikko managed to finish in third place.
It was 4wd raceday on Sunday. Joona Haatanen and Pekko Iivonen fought for the TQ and in the end Joona took it and pekko started second right behind Joona in the finals. Joona and Pekko had a tight battle for the first place in the finals but Joona won the first two final rounds and secured the win of the race. In second final round Tuomo and Konsta had also a tight battle for the whole five minutes of the final but Tuomo managed to overtake Konsta in the final lap right before the finish line and secured third place of the race.
